Building and Grounds:
Provide a functional, clean and attractive property through hands-on support, including maintenance, repair, improvement and project support for property and equipment.
Campus Missions:
Pair up with organizations and schools around your campus to aid in any number of tangible ways – you might paint, make a meal or do administrative tasks.
Capstone Cafe:
Capstone volunteers help prepare smoothies, fountain drinks, drip coffee and food items on Saturday or Sunday! Come and serve with us!
Available volunteer hours are:
Carmel - Saturday 4PM to 7PM or Sunday 8AM to 1PM
Binford - Sunday 8AM to 1PM
Communications:
Writing, editing, design, data – this team gets the word out about Northview Church. Communications supports all other Northview ministries.
Global Missions:
We partner with three ministries within our Global Outreach department. We send GO Teams to New York City, Haiti, and Uganda.
Groups:
Groups help people connect with God and others. Volunteer to host or lead a group.
Guest Services:
We want every person’s Northview experience to be fantastic. The Guest Services Team helps make that happen.
Local Missions:
Serve those in Central Indianapolis – you might distribute food and clothing to the homeless, be a classroom tutor at an IPS partner school, provide mentoring to the youth of the Brookside neighborhood or mentor individuals reentering from previous incarceration.
Ministry Assistance:
If cooking meals, welcoming new faces or organization is your thing, there are many opportunities for you to help behind the scenes during the week.
Northview Kids:
If you like working with kids, there are opportunities in our children’s ministry to hold babies, lead small-group discussions, or greet families as they check in. Be part of a team that helps raise up the next generation!
Northview Students:
Our students need adults in their lives who’ll encourage them to grow closer to God. Whether it is leading a small group or helping at one of our student Weekend Services, you can make a difference in the lives of students.
Prison Ministry:
Facilitate Weekend Services inside a prison campus through greeting, mentoring, encouragement, fellowship and prayer.
Safety & Security:
Help provide a secure, safe, disturbance free environment and experience for church staff, guests during weekday and weekend services, ministry, and activities. The top priority in this regard is always protecting the life, welfare and health of each person in a courteous, respectful and Christ-like manner
Special Needs:
Special Needs Ministry ministers to families at Northview who have children with special needs or who are medically fragile. Our mission is to teach kids and students with special needs about Jesus, to create an environment where all children are accepted and loved.
Weekend Services:
These people make Weekend Services happen. From camera operators and lighting crew to guitarists and vocalists, there’s a whole crew of people who make weekend great.
